This course provides advanced training on the use of court orders under the Adult Guardianship Act for Designated Responders/Designated Responder Coordinators who are responsible for responding to reports of adult abuse, neglect, or self-neglect.

- Recognize when to ask to consult
with legal counsel
- Identify steps to preparing for an
affidavit
Pre-requisites for VCH/PHC:
(1) Approval by Operational Leadership to be a Designated Responder/Designated Responder Coordinator. Please consult with your organization’s regional Adult Protection Lead about the approval process.
(2) Completion of Modules 1 - 9 of the ReAct Adult Protection Curriculum
