If you use the Alaris Syringe Module in your clinical practice, you are required to complete the competency check at the end of the course.

As per Accreditation Canada, all clinicians who operate infusion pumps must complete a competency assessment:

• Every two years, and
• Upon returning from an extended leave (e.g., maternity/parental leave or any leave of absence exceeding one year).
