This learning module is part of a project where personas, hypothetical representations of patients that incorporate “life stories”, were developed as a knowledge translation (KT) intervention to support health care providers’ (HCPs) use of patient reported outcome measures (PROMs) in the care of older adults with cancer.

Upon successful completion of this learning module, you will be able to:

1) Apply personas as a tool to understand patient experiences

2) Identify strategies to address emotional needs of older adults with cancer, and

3) Demonstrate knowledge about how to incorporate PROMs into clinical practice
